  1. I don't think it is important for the name to describe what the application does. For example: Modo Silo XSI Maya Lightwave Carrara Bryce Hexagon Houdini Rhino None of those names are descriptive, but they are unique and memorable. The term "3D" has been overused, I recommend avoiding it completely. I think you should consider the things that have been important to you as an individual, and use one of those as the name. Perhaps a significant person or place. I suggest a single word with 3 syllables or less, and no more than 7 letters.
  2. I agree, 3D-Gem sounds cheap. I hope you'll at least keep the painted ball.
  3. Is there any news regarding the OS X port? Has the programmer started porting it yet?
  4. They finally added 3D-Brush to the list of supported apps.

  6. Andrew, I think you misunderstood me. I didn't mean that there was anything wrong with the grammar. I was just pointing out that Oliver was telling me to read the manual, when apparently he hasn't read it himself.
  7. @Oliver Is that the same manual that says "A pen can be in color, provided the image contains an alpha channel" and shows pictures of pens with color? Looks like I'm not the only one who needs to read the manual. @Andrew Thanks, now I understand what I was doing wrong with the pens.
  8. When I load an image as a pen it is grayscale. How do I make it color? Is there a way to use a seamless tileable texture as a pen, and have it tile seamlessly while painting? If not, then I would like to request that as a feature. Thanks.
  9. Andrew, if you send an email to partner@3dconnexion.com they will add 3D-Brush to the list of supported applications. http://www.3dconnexion.com/solutions/cad/all_sup_app.php
  10. Andrew, you posted this: Then 5 hours & 37 minutes later you posted this: Had you already started working on adding support prior to the first post, or did you do it all in 5 hours & 37 minutes? Was it easy to add support? I'm just curious because some developers refuse to add support to their software. If it is easy to do, and can be done so quickly, it may be easier to convince the reluctant developers. Thanks again for adding support, and doing it so quickly.
  11. Thanks. It's working great with my SpaceNavigator. I did find a small bug, which I posted in the Support forum.
  12. Wow, you are fast! Thanks for adding support. Could you make button 2 (Key N2) reset the camera to the default position?
  13. You can buy a SpaceNavigator in the Ukraine at the link below. http://shop.3dconnexion.eu/index.php?sid=b...b0b6bae32e& You can get the SDK from here. http://www.3dconnexion.com/support/sdk.php
