  1. tried complete uninstall and reinstall of latest dev version. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the license. The issue remains. Is anyone looking in this forum? Is there a better way to get support?
  2. I'm gonna try a full reinstall. Something changed and it wasn't the binaries. So I'll clean it all out, reinstall (including the directx although the defect occurs with the GL version) and try again.
  3. BUILD: 3.5.05A OS: Windows Vista 64 bit SP2 HARDWARE: (If applicable) BUG DESCRIPTION: SL Sculpty Export has line of noise across center of image. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: Perform steps in http://www.3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3288 (approximate. current UI is not identical to that shown in the tutorial.) SL Sculpty Export suddenly produces a sculpty map image that has a 2 pixel high line of noise through the center of the image. This did not occur the last time I tried the tutorial at http://www.3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3288 . Last night I returned to this aspect of the 3D Coat product to learn about it and the export consistently produces defective output like the attached image.
  4. This suddenly no longer works. The version has not changed. Is this program really that unstable as to work one day and not the next? Please post in text with pictures the step by step process using the current user interface to produce a sculpt map that does not have a 2 pixel high line of noise horizontally across the center. Thanks.
  5. Hi. The current version menus appear to be much different. And attempting to follow these tutorials does not result in the same results. For instance there is no mtl export format available anymore. Can you explain the changes as they relate to the current version? thx edit: ah hah got the example to work at last.
  6. This product supposedly has native support for Second Life Sculpties. I found a topic that stated to export them you must first import them. However when I import one it disappears when I try to use any modeling features. Since I am unable to locate much useful information here I am wondering if you have a step by step that leads to being able to model using SL sculpty base objects. In addition should I have installed the 32 bit version? I get lots of problems and errors using the 64 bit version.
