Did you tested it in GL version too? I haven't problems there.
Crashed in the GL as well.. disappointing. Maybe the UV is making it crash since I did not do it by hand I don't know at this point all I can say is it is very buggy.. I did not save my 3DC updates to go back to..

This sucks a bunch time to go back to Zbrush.. .08 is just to buggy and I'am running out of patience.. Thanks for the help there guys this one is toast..

Very Buggy!!I want to hide parts of the object so I can get to it to retopo is what I'am after .. Not sure what is causing the program to crash but that is all I'am getting when I hit the merge into scene (per pixel). Might have to set the UV's by hand..
Thanks..

To hide in retopo pick the Select tool, select the polygons to hide (hit the Faces radio button along the top if need be), then you'll see the Hide options appear with the other tools.

Thanks..

Thanks Phil, this thing is still locking up on me and not responding , I'am using the latest one so who knows..

Actually found the problem forgot to patch that area in retopo.. How to you hide areas when retopoing ?

I wouldn't use per-pixel for a character like his, that would be better for a low poly game character. Try picking Merge Into Scene (microverts) and pick a medium resolution for the carcass and a "millions of polygons" setting, like 4 or 5 million would probably be good. This is the same way I did the head in my orc WIP, but I used close to 7 mil.
Getting alot of crashes even at lower settings don't know whats up..

I'm still a newbie, but you might try going to the paintroom, then select 'import'...then select 'model for per pixel painting'
Thanks but that is not it.. I'am going from voxels to retopo, trying to get it into paint..

I think, "Merge for Per-Pixel" is what you want.
Thanks I will give it a shot..

There is a snap threshold (see attachment)
Even with the snap threshold it still is unpredictable I have to turn it off when I get to a certain point to work and go back in where it messed up.. It snaps to where I don't want it to. Still playing with it thou..

Nice character..

nice work, Scott,,, look forward to seeing it textured and animated.
Thanks 3d_sculptress..

Thanks for that Tony appreciate it, then that is what I will do.For animation, a single mesh will be nice and clean. In retopo, you have total control over the UVs and the clusters can match the clothes. I have exported seperate meshes (for heads, hands, bodies with clothes over clothes and will in future combine things in 3DC rather than exporting seperate objects.

what are you trying to achieve? we cant help you if you dont say what your goals are. Are you trying to use quadrangulate and paint? or will you manually retopo the character etc etc?
1.Here is what I got, I have all the clothes in seperate layers would it be best to combine it all into one layer then retopo?
2. This is going to be animated .
I think I know what I need to do from a Jarvis Jones video I saw how to get it there.

You can merge all or not merge. All should work in both cases.
Thanks Andrew, so I don't have to worry about the inside thickness?
-
Can someone give me and answer or doesn't anyone know? Should I merge all the layers and then retopo all one object? I made the clothes in cloth with each separate layer which make a thickness to it.

Very cool fun character !!
when is this online for sale ?
and where ?
Not for sale because it has not been done yet because of technical difficulty on the 23rd..
Supposedly it is going to be rescheduled for a different date and time has not been announced yet.
