  1. ok, good to know, look forward to being able to take advantage of these features in the future.
  2. I guess its not possible in current version then?
  3. I'm trying to bind a hotkey for the most used primitives that I create, such as sphere, cube, cylinder etc... but when going through the usual steps of doing this (pressing end key and assigning the hotkey) it doesn't seem to be working? Not sure if I am doing something wrong here?
  4. Yeah, that was the video I initially watched on it, that's more of a demo of: here's what it can do... rather than - here's how to make it do what you want...
  5. So I'm still in the early stages of learning this software, playing around with all the different tools to understand what can be done, most of the tools are surprisingly quite intuitive to use or have detailed video explanations with a little searching.... But I am finding this tool neither intuitive or having a video demonstrating how to best use its functions. Really would like to understand how this tool works, as bending objects precisely is important for creating certain shapes. Right now I'm primarily using the pose tool and occasionally the freeform lattice to achieve bends, but I'm interested in understanding this tools features as an alternative, it must have some merit or wouldn't be included right?
  6. Ok thanks, good to know that its possible, though to be honest accessing this via hotkeys is less than ideal. As someone who's still quite new to 3d, I often get what axis is what mixed up and I can see myself hitting the wrong keys... also there is enough hotkeys I'm trying to commit to memory to speed up my workflow right now, adding additional ones on top of that doesn't help! If it would be possible in a future update to make it so that you can perhaps change the settings, so that the plane is tied to movement instead of scaling, it would be a huge help.... or perhaps you could hold shift and it moves instead of scales as an alt function? The visual aid of what plane its going to move on is highly beneficial to those who are new to 3D.
  7. ^^ Yeah, usually you can move along planes using those in other programs, but when I use them in 3d coat its scaling the object?
  8. This is pretty standard with most other 3d software.... the ability to move objects along a 2 axis plane using the transform/gizmo tool in order to more quickly align things. Is there a reason why this function doesn't exist in 3D Coat?
  9. Alright, will be asking Santa for some more RAM for Christmas.
  10. Currently running: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz 16.0 GB RAM NVIDI GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER How will this perform? And If I want to upgrade to improve performance what components should I prioritise? Thanks!
