Ok thanks, good to know that its possible, though to be honest accessing this via hotkeys is less than ideal. As someone who's still quite new to 3d, I often get what axis is what mixed up and I can see myself hitting the wrong keys... also there is enough hotkeys I'm trying to commit to memory to speed up my workflow right now, adding additional ones on top of that doesn't help! If it would be possible in a future update to make it so that you can perhaps change the settings, so that the plane is tied to movement instead of scaling, it would be a huge help.... or perhaps you could hold shift and it moves instead of scales as an alt function? The visual aid of what plane its going to move on is highly beneficial to those who are new to 3D.
