  1. I'd like to be able to export FBX files in addition to importing them. I use Cheetah and Unity and prefer to use the .jas or .fbx formats. Since Cheetah and Unity both support the FBX format this works out well. However to write over my original FBX models which I painted in 3DCoat I have to export as OBJ, then open in Cheetah and resave as FBX. That's an extra step which breaks my workflow and seems unnecessary. Jeff
  2. I think I've come across the Wacom issue as well sporadically, I'll have to mess with it a bit more to see if I can reproduce it.
  3. The new Mac installer is great, no longer overwrites my registration. I use the default preferences so I don't know if those made it OK. One spelling error. "Soft Strok" should be "Soft Stroke" in the toolbar.
  4. OK just a few suggestions that should really solidify the Mac version. 1. The menu bar items should be moved up to the standard menu area to be consistent with the Mac interface. 2. Registration and Preferences/Options files should be stored in ~/Library/Application Support or /Library/Application Support so that they are not overwritten when dropping a new version's folder into Applications. (OS X deletes the old folder before copying the new folder over). 3. This is much less of an issue, and I'm not sure it's worth it but would be nice for OS X consistency. Use the OS X floating palettes instead of the palettes currently used. Thanks! Jeff
  5. Masks and material full screen previews intermittently don't display. I haven't been able to narrow down a cause but it once it happens I have to restart 3DC to get the preview back. Also when I open a .3b file the following Save command brings up the Save As dialog instead of overwriting the old file. After this the Save command works properly. Update: Perhaps the mask and material preview issue is due to the different sales of the images, so for one mask made very small but visible renders a different mask invisible. So maybe each mask should start at their default size as the user changes between masks and materials.
  6. The preference for 2D image editor does not work. I choose the 2D editor, but nothing changes in the preferences dialog.
  7. I've run into the same import problem. When I try to import some of my FBX files I just get the spinning beach ball o' death and have to force quit. Jeff
