Advanced Member pixo Posted July 22, 2012 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 22, 2012 Hello guys, I don't find anyway to retopo on a kind of ghosted volume. Does somebody manage to retopo on a ghosted volume? If it is not the right way, how do you manage to do it? Sorry for my newbie question. Cheers, Pixo
Reputable Contributor digman Posted July 22, 2012 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted July 22, 2012 There is no way to retopo a ghosted volume that I know of... It is protected from editing which carries over to the retopo room...
Advanced Member pixo Posted July 22, 2012 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 22, 2012 Hello Digman, So you mean there is no way to make the volume look transparent as well ? Thank you in advance, Pixo
Reputable Contributor digman Posted July 22, 2012 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted July 22, 2012 You can edit the shaders transparency under it's icon by right clicking on it. You can see other voxel objects through it in the voxel room and retopo room. You can not see your retopo mesh though the voxel object. That might be due to the fact that the retopo mesh is not double side polygons or not coded to be shown but these are only a guesses. I not sure what you need but you can hide parts of the voxel or surface mesh if they are getting in the way as you retopo...
