Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted August 3, 2012 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted August 3, 2012 There may be another way of doing this, that I'm not aware of, but you can click the little grid icon at the bottom of the Retopo Groups/Layer Panel, called "Select all faces in layer." You should now be able to click the Clone tool button toward the bottom of the tool panel. Once done, you can click the little icon next to the grid, that says "Move selected faces to layer." That's 3 clicks...not terribly fast or efficient for a simple copy, but it's not too difficult either.
Advanced Member pixo Posted August 3, 2012 Advanced Member Report Share Posted August 3, 2012 It would be great to have a general way of doing the things in 3D Coat, it means to don't learn a new way of doing the things between rooms. +1 for "Duplicate" layer in the Retopo
