Member JBT27 Posted December 15, 2013 Member Report Share Posted December 15, 2013 This is a problem that hung around in 3.x and it's still there in 4.x. Importing a 'big mesh' for retopo, saved out of LW with a UV and image map assigned in LW - when displayed in 3DCoat, the UV is flipped vertically - it's correct on the U but not the V. I could do with it the shown correctly for reference purposes. Any ideas? Thanks. Julian.
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted December 16, 2013 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted December 16, 2013 Yeah...I had this happen recently, and for some reason, when you choose KEEP CLUSTERS, 3D Coat does whatever it wants with the layout. It keeps the UV islands the same size and all, but it re-orders them. Not sure if that is a bug or what. But I ALWAYS choose KEEP UV (in the Import dialog). That fixed it for me. Member JBT27 Posted December 16, 2013 Author Member Report Share Posted December 16, 2013 Importing the mesh does not offer any options to keep anything - it just imports - I'm in the Retopo room. Julian.

Julian. Oh. I see. Can you send the file to support (from within the HELP menu) and then e-mail support to let them know about your issue. Make sure to explain that you uploaded the file to their server. support@3d-coat.com
