Member Sladus Posted July 17, 2014 Member Share Posted July 17, 2014 When I paint with the airbrush close to the edge, particularly with a mask or material, there are distorted areas going around the sides of the object. They look like the airbrush sprayed sideways and has a splatter effect. Is there a setting to make it stop when it gets to the edge or make it wrap around? Reputable Contributor digman Posted July 19, 2014 Reputable Contributor Share Posted July 19, 2014 (edited) Go to customize navigation under the Camera menu, Top right of 3DC's interface. Scroll down till you see the LMB section in the navigation panel. I included a picture. Deselect "outside the object".Now you can start a paint stroke outside an object. It is great for corners as you discussed in not getting the bleed around the edge. You do lose the ability to spin the model around in the 3D viewport just using the left mouse button but still can using the Alt key and the LMB button. Works the same for a tablet pen as well. Nothing is perfect in life so in might not meet all situations. Save this as a Navigation preset. It will show up in your Navigation preset list. That way you could use it as needed.
