New Member Ashfire45 Posted November 13, 2016 New Member Report Share Posted November 13, 2016 Hi there! I know this is a question that's likely been asked a thousand times, but I can't seem to find the direct answer I'm looking for. I'm brand new to 3DCoat, and I've been watching tutorials on youtube, but I don't know how they apply to my particular workflow - or rather, I still don't know what I'm doing!!! What I do is model in Hexagon, refine in Zbrush, and then I want to send to 3DCoat for texturing exclusively. These models will be for and used in Daz Studio, with the Iray render engine. I suppose my question is, with this work train in mind, can you guys tell me the steps to creating a texture? For an example... I'm working on a hat; what do I do now? How would you guys go about painting a nice texture for this, with it kept in mind that you'll be painting those yellow stripes/circles? Would you paint it completely from hand, or use free online texture samples?
Contributor Malo Posted November 16, 2016 Contributor Report Share Posted November 16, 2016 You could paint it with the Circle Tool from the E-Panel. Or maybe one of the Stencils. Its all up to you.
