So far ive just been playing about with features and functions as you do. While trying out Smart Materials i did not see anything to do with snow specifically. Are there any ready made snow materials available either free or otherwise that someone can provide a link to. Ive created a winter landscape scene in my Lightwave programme were there is a snow effect on the mountains and any outcrops with vrtical faces have no snow on them. I could not get the Snow to look really good so i abandoned my project. Hopefully ill be able to restart my project and get the ideal snow effect im after via 3dcoat. Thanks for providing what info you can. PS. If there is a paid for snow3dcpack out there that does everything to do with snow from covering whole landscapes to having a light sprinkling of snow on say a car object then i would take a serious look at it.
