It also does this for subdividing mesh. Task Manager says it's working. And typically after a bit of a wait it will complete itself. I was thinking maybe a small utility or option or something so that you can see the status of such operations even when the main program itself is busy Not Responding. Whoa cool, while I was typing this the Ambient Occlusion Caluclation has completed! The entire time though it said 3%. I had no way of knowing where it actually was in the mean time though.
