Andrew We have an overlap feature on the spilt voxel tool, This feature enables the rough blending of two seperate volume although this is a cheat while we cant actually blend the together it is visually impossible to tell between them, So my question is this can we have the same overlap when we use the convert hidden to layer functionallity, The split tool only works through the entire mesh from the view, if we can use the hide tool when brush and have this overlap then we can atleast have a way of increasing a smaller surface area. By way of example please take a look at the last Zombie sketch in my thread. The nasal area was split and blended after X 2 increase with no noticiable seam. But when i paint selected the the eye and hid the used the Hide to layer option. There was a blinking great gap left that needed to be filled. hence visible seam round eye. I can demonstrate in a video if it helps.
