Member Steve C Posted January 28, 2010 Member Report Share Posted January 28, 2010 I had searched for a topic in this but could not find anything related. I am sure the good devs have thought of this when doing the retopologize. However if its not available then I would like to see this implimented when they can. In ZB there is a feature that allows you to take two ojbects one to serve as the inner object and one to be the other which is larger, The objects are placed in two seperate layers and use the paint tool called Zproject to paint the outer ojbect so that it conforms to the inside object. The end result is the sphere is now the same shape as the first object that is the inner one. I hope this makes sense. I do not know of any other way to explain this. Thanks. Steve Just a "kind of" workaround for you: You can convert the destination object to voxels and try 3DCoat "snap" option in retopo room, its pretty strong. But you might need to tweak the shape with Brush Tool a little before hand. Its like Zproject brush really, dont expect to turn a human hand in a tomato with it. I will be repainting the model.
