Member Rodney Brett Posted April 25, 2010 Member Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 Hi. I was just discussing with one of my students about a recent video I created showing retopo tools in 3d-coat and he said "wouldn't that be really great to do that on an iPad with your fingers" and it got me thinking how doable would it be to port over even a scaled down version of 3d-coat for iPad. Even the retopo tools would sell me. What do you think? Rodney Brett www.vimeo.com/RodneyBrett
philnolan3d
That's why I'm looking forward to the HP Slate. However, while the Slate will still have twice the RAM and early twice the CPU of the ipad I still wouldn't expect to be doing a whole lot of 3DC stuff on it. 3DC generally requires a fairly powerful computer, more so than you'll get in a slate or tablet device.
