PolyHertz
Few retopo questions was wondering if someone here could answer: Is their a way to preview the subdivided mesh in the retopo room? You can subdivide it, but it doesn't smooth the subdivision (like with standard catmull-clark) before reprojecting the new points onto the highs surface. Also is their a way to export the retopoed mesh with zbrush/mudbox compatible point orders like in topogun? To explain, if you were to project the mesh in 3dcoat (assuming it has proper subdivision somewhere) to the highpoly, and then xport it for mud, their would be no way to get the low back. So instead what topogun does is lets you take the low, bring it into mud, subdivide the same number of times as in 3dcoat, and then import the projected mesh as a layer in, and sense the point order is the same the details are brought in fully intact with all levels. ZB is basically the same but in reverse.
