New Member Merries Posted March 10, 2011 New Member Report Share Posted March 10, 2011 Hello all, Im new to this style of program. I am a Indie 3D game asset artist and would like to know if 3D coat is considered too high poly for game models? Is there a way to reduce the poly's? I would love to hear from other game modelers, thank you!
philnolan3d
That's what the Retopo room is for. My Starfighter that is used on the 3DC web site started as a very high res model, but between retopo and textures I got a good looking game res model (at least I think so) See it here: http://www.philnolan3d.com/images/artwork/starfighter_3view.jpg
