Advanced Member Digital777 Posted June 14, 2011 Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 14, 2011 When you add brushes you can load from a few 3d formats, rotate etc and convert the result to a brush. It would be nice to be able to directly do it from voxels also though which as far as i know is not possible without exporting a object first. Maybe you can't do it because some projects might be very complex but i guess there is ways around that like resolution reduction, only getting the current layer or view area etc. This could be very useful so it gets my +1 vote also as a feature request. Advanced Member michalis Posted June 14, 2011 Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 14, 2011 What if 3dcoat render room could export a 16 or 32 bit depth mask? Useful for illustrations too.
Psmith
If you are speaking about the "MRGBZ Grabber" tool - we don't have anything like that yet, but I've placed my request for something like this with Raul. He's quite interested in pursuing the idea. Greg Smith
Advanced Member michalis Posted June 15, 2011 Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 @Psmith A depth map from render room could perfectly serve, especially a 16-32 bit tif. MRGBZ grabber is not the only tool. The BPR depth export is excellent.
