The wording seems to be a bit different than last year. I am giving a quote of 41.6 Euros and it mentions 11 installments. I believe 41.6 is the total amount for 11 months, plus 1 free month. But it seems to indicate that it is 11 installments of 41.6. Again, I believe it was the same as last year and 41.6 is the total amount I pay once. Correct? Let me know soon as I have the cart loaded and ready to purchase. Cheers Ken

The problem is that the Autoretopology operation sometimes does not produce any result at all and does not even create a layer in the Poly Groups list. -

Hi Would you add the option to navigate about the center of the object (Volumetric center) , so, there will be no need to select the pivot point manually every time. -
There may be a bug, but just from watching the video you provided, I would use a different approach to this kind of model. It may not seem like a very complex model overall, but it does have a number of complex shapes, which make it harder for the algorithm to do its job. For example, the teeth and eyeballs, if done separately, will have a good result. Then the rest of the body, I would do separately, making a duplicate that reduces the amount of small details (so that the only thing Auto-Retopo needs to focus on is the larger shapes and forms). Once you are finished with the Auto-Retopo generation, you can delete this dumbed down duplicate and use the high resolution original for baking purposes. Also, before running Auto-Retopo, I try to make the duplicate a Voxel object > RMB the Sculpt Tree layer > choose FILL VOIDS. Sometimes your model may have little pockets inside (usually from working with Voxels and resulting from cutting and merge operations). This step will remove those, if any are detected. They can adversely affect the Auto-Retopo result and even cause crashes. -

I run 3dcoat on Fedora kinoite through an Ubuntu 22.04 distrobox image and it works pretty well. I mainly use it for sculpting and texture painting although I haven't tested it for too many hours yet in this set up. I used to just dual boot into windows for 3dcoat and other applications during the wayland-nvidia dark ages. The only problem I've run into is that I can't load .3b files when using the 3dcoat 22.04 executable but it works perfectly fine when using the 20.04 one. I don't know if there's a difference these but I haven't run into any issues yet. 3DCoat-2024.28-02 is currently unusable however. I haven't tried anything to get it to work but the UI just disappears after a few seconds of loading. -

Hi, It's no longer there - all because I opened someone's file that doesn't use 3D Coat - this must surely be a bug? And needs fixing I downloaded from GitHub - change the download name from io-coat3d_main to io-coat3D and now it seems to be, on a primarily test, working again. I did not delete any files or folders whatsoever. Thank you for your help, its appreciated - Hopefully, it's all working again -
For Blender 4.3 the correct location is C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.3\extensions\user_default\io_coat3D

Is right, my Exchange folder is also located on C:\Users\<username>\Documents\AppLinks\3D-Coat\Exchange\ Object texture folder, I let it empty reinstall the addon on Extension folder, not Addons
