It's not a UV problem since I can paint the seams in the 2d view: Second problem, here's the file before I save it: Then when I reload it in a new session: I'm glad I had the separate textures already exported so nothing got lost. Anyone can confirm this? Besides, it wont create padding at export if there was some color generated beforehand in another tool and imported into 3dcoat in an underneath layer, because the border is not 'empty'. See here, the greenish color was imported (AO baked with maya with a padding of 3 texels), and the dark grey color painted in 3dcoat.
