Hi Andrew, a couple serious issues that should be fixed asap imo:

First ppp no longer paints seamlesly across UV seams: (texture is 2k x 2k)

3dcoat does not paint the UV shell border texel correctly.

It's not a UV problem since I can paint the seams in the 2d view:

Second problem, here's the file before I save it:

Then when I reload it in a new session:

I'm glad I had the separate textures already exported so nothing got lost.

Let me know if you need the file.

Franck.

Is there any options at 3.5 for making more borders BEHIND the uv islands? At 3.3 I cann't find this option (only for export) but maybe at 3.5 this is appears and you have 0 there?

If it exists I haven't found it either. I honestly don't think there is one. Anyone can confirm this?

Besides, it wont create padding at export if there was some color generated beforehand in another tool and imported into 3dcoat in an underneath layer, because the border is not 'empty'.

See here, the greenish color was imported (AO baked with maya with a padding of 3 texels), and the dark grey color painted in 3dcoat. This is the exported color file:

I was not able to reproduce it on my simple models. Please provide the model.
