Tool used most often.
Clone. I use the clone as a cutting or adding tool. Once you make your "cut/add" the clone is still there and can be use again. You can make lots of cutting/adding tools with the clone feature. It makes very clean cuts or additions. I'm looking forward to experimenting more with this in the future.

Cars are somewhat difficult to model in 3d-Coat at this time.Of course it can be done ,but Coat needs more precise controls over the voxel surface in order to manipulate shapes.Some proposals have been made in hopes to improve the ability to control the manipulation of shapes.This car concept was created primarily using boolean operations and the E-Panel.Hopefully in the future we will have more of a spline based or cage based control set to help with more precise adjustments to the meshes.From 2011 until now 3DC add new e-panel tools very useful for spline based or cage based control.
I have not idea about car modeling using 3DC, is not my area atm, but... always found nice to watch some Car Clay Modeling at youtube, trying to learn how car designer use clay to model their prototypes

If exported the surface mode model with the vertex paint as an obj or Ply model from the voxel room, with the vertex colors written directly into the obj or ply file.
can I delete the vertex color imported in the obj... erasing the layer0 ?

Is very uncomfortable to have a floating arrow icon somewhere over the spline where you are working... or floating in anywhere.
Will be very useful to migrate all this command window to Tool Option, and dont use the Floating Small square anymore.

manually clone and position the arms and merge/weld them to the body
but... where do you think to mark seams ?
doing symmetrical uvs could use overlapped UVs... but need same polycount and seams in every arm

select one arm island, in uvpreview copy island ctrl+c
select another arm, in uvpreview paste island ctrl+v
island are overlapped
