  1. i was not talking about voxel room simply use import to paint on it. this method of recalculating may help but is not perfect because majority of time i do them manually because some faces are angled other not and auto smooth don't know what i'm doing. but well, thanks for your answer, i'll use fbx when the problem is appearing
  2. after few more test, this time using FBX import, i didn't get the problem. so i presume this is speccific with OBJ

Hello, Sometimes or often, i have this kind of problem when importing Obj from 3ds Max to 3Dcoat, all smoothgroups are set to 1 wich resulting in a bad occlusion calculation and same for all works i would like to do with it. It looks weird and i don't understand why this is appening... i have checked the Box "export Smoothgroup" in the panel exporter, so there is no reason.
  4. hello, this my problem today, i have a big engine to unwrap, and the seams are still shown when i hide theunselected parts. it's becomming really hard to understand what i'm doing... is this a bug or a function that can be deactivated somewhere ?

  6. there is no voxels in my project. i tryed to calculate ambiant occlusion after this bug, and it has calculated a totally white map. restarted 3dc removed the bug
  7. hello, After baking a serie of UVs to a new uvs panel, i have got this awesome bug: you can notice that the uvs on the right looks correct and there is no artefacts on it. i'm only using diffuse color maps...
  8. hello, while working in the UV room, it sometimes happens that green islands appear and makes the seams invisible because seams has also the same kind of green. see the photo, i made a seams over this green island, could you see it ? not clearly.. this is why sometimes it's hard to find them and slow the unwrapping a bit. thanks
  9. after more test, i fund, that it works but there is not visual return to see if i have selected an object or not. previous version were shoing the selected models or vertices in white, wich is not the case now ?
  10. hello, this is annoying problem in my workflow i'm usually exploding sub object to bake the normal map and start painting, and i use Tweak to position back the parts of the objects, but the select objects and select brush does nothing today. i'm on 4.7.20 opengl 64

  12. graphics are updated, i discovered also many unwrapping problems, seams that are not joined or island not unwrapped. will test last update now

Hello, i have installed the last update 4.7.19 DX64, and i have got this bug in the retopo room, on the UV pannel, the camera doesn't clear backaground while zooming over UV there is also many other visual bugs in the others pannels on icons that disapearing and appear when my cursor is over i restarted 3dc and the bug is gone...

  15. hello, i think it would be nice to have a better visualisation of the center of the polygons while we are using the hide tool. sometimes i'm just turning around the right place to hide the desired face and most of time in complicated places where polygons are really near of each other, the tool is hidding all of them instead of the one i desire. something like a clickable green dot would be awesome.
  16. Hello guys, i was just working on a big piece and just discovered that there is missing a little option to make the unwrapping faster. in the UV Preview you can select faces of your object, but you cannot clic on a button to mark all the borders as seams. that's all ! thanks for reading !

Hi, while working with materials, i noticed some little boring thing i would like to see removed see on the screenshot, - while trying to make a good material, the help always appear and disappear over the model. - moving the window for setting the curve is not doable or maybe to hard to drag, i tested mutiple times to drag it, but clicking the top or anywhere on the border only close it. i know that i can move the mesh and the render behind it, but when the camera angle is good, why not simply move the windows around it ? thanks for reading.

  19. Trying to use and set cylindric mapping is really complicate. should be nice to have a gyzmo of the cylinder you are setting

Salut a tous ! j'ai réalisé dernièrement pour le compte de ma société, ma première figurine 3D imprimée! très satisfait du résultat, j'avais de me faire plaisir et de présenter a la communauté 3Dcoat (et je sais quel est nombreuse, y'a au moins frenchy pilou et moi, ça 2 !) alors la voila: May'O (de Ketch'Up & May'O) assis, prenant la pose pendant que le joueur est partit: La qualité est plutôt pas mal, je suis impressionné sur la taille des détails qu'on peut avoir, c'est plutôt pas mal respecté comparé au model 3D. je l'ai faite imprimer par sculptéo, qui propose en plus de shapeways, la possibilité de les faire en couleur en respectant l'image fournie, et ça c'est un sacré bonus je trouve ! maintenant je vous avoue que j'ai envie d'imprimer toutes les autres que j'offre a mes clients pour les avoir aussi ! http://blackantmaster.com/Shop.php et vous quel est votre expérience avec ça ?
