  1. Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately, I cannot edit the topic name (I am not a forum administrator). I tried to see it in the settings, but I found nothing about it. You are correct about the name of this Topic is not correct regarding the content. I already noticed about that! I will create another Topic to fix things. After Carlosan commented on the 3D-Coat interface, I responded and I ended up using the same topic to comment on the interface. Regarding Preset ZB-Like I know and I certainly understand the reason for its existence. I just think the same is not true for the Pixologic team (there is nothing or any 3D-Coat preset inside ZBrush). But life goes on!
  2. I forgot to say one of the options that the 3D View Palette would have ... The main function of the 3D View Palette would be to have other camera angles that could be manipulated like what happens in 3D programs... but there would be another option for 3D View Palette: - that could open another model (.obj, 3b file, and other formats) so that the user has a 3D reference to work with.
  3. Another interface element that I miss within the 3D-Coat interface would be the Viewport camera navigation ViewCube. In the image, I'm putting Maya's ViewCube as an example. Currently in 3D-Coat only shows a text saying a certain angle. It would be great to have a navigation system similar to the Maya ViewCube in the 3D-Coat interface.
  4. Simple but important idea... The user could choose the different Cameras Shortcuts visually through images that would appear on the palette as the user added the camera shortcut. Just taking advantage of what already exists in 3D-Coat (panoramasList) and adapting to a function in which the user currently has no idea of the camera shortcut that will appear on the screen. The user has to use the Switch to Next and Switch to Previous commands until reaching the desired shortcut camera. With the new Icon and Palette Camera Shortcuts the user can easily choose exactly the desired shortcut camera. And if the user wants, he can still use the Switch to Next and Switch to Previous commands normally.
  5. Another simple suggestion, but it would help users a lot. The implementation of a new palette: 3D View camera.
  6. I made a video simulating the pop up menus that I described in the image. As you can see in the video, the suggestion is very simple and practically works with the programming codes that already exist in 3D-Coat. Of course, I could have done something different and more complex. But the idea would be for developers not to spend too much time creating something complex and that way they could quickly implement without much effort and give it to us in the next builds. Even though these pop-up menus are simple, they would certainly be very useful and practical. The only thing I didn't do in the video was the customized menu number 6 in the image. It would be the same as what was presented in the video, but the user could choose any brush or tool to insert in the empty spaces of this menu, thus creating a completely personalized menu. The other idea of the custom buttons in the empty space that I talked about in the image, I think I don't need to make a video demonstrating. Since I explained it in an easy way and that everyone can understand in the image.

I understand perfectly, but unfortunately the same is not the case with Pixologic. @Carlosan How coincidental you talk about the 3D-Coat interface, because in the last few weeks, I was thinking a lot about it and I have some ideas (suggestions) in relation to the 3D-Coat interface. In my opinion, we could, if everyone agreed, comment first on simple ideas and suggestions that could already be implemented in the program today without the developers spending a lot of time to develop the very complex things related to the interface. I would like to share a small and big contribution regarding this in relation to the huge amount of tools and brushes that exist in the interface. Sometimes, honestly, I get confused to find what I need and the same happens when I press the Space key. And that way my workflow becomes slower. Thinking about it, I had two simple ideas that I think could be developed without having to develop complex programming code since most of the code would be used because it already exists within the program. 1) Pop ups menus for brushes and tools. 2) Creation of customized buttons for any tools, functions and commands that exist inside 3D-Coat directly on the interface. In the attached image, I explain in more detail what these two ideas would be like.
  8. I know that my question and opinion can be misinterpreted and even cause some controversy, but I would like to say anyway. Why do we have a navigation preset for ZBrush? I ask this because I can't understand why 3D-Coat has something that "advertises" or mentions a competing program like ZB. I do not see and until today that I know, at pixologic Zbrush, any navigation reference or anything else for 3D-Coat inside ZBrush. If there is something inside ZBrush with the name of 3D-Coat, please tell me and correct me. I understand that people who use ZBrush and start using 3D-Coat with ZB-like navigation will feel more comfortable, because of course they use ZBrush. But honestly I don't understand having something with reference to another program like ZB-Like inside 3D-Coat, maybe someone please can explain it to me. After all, 3D-Coat is another program and 3D-Coat's navigation is very easy to use and much better. I would love to have a camera navigation preset that simulates 3D-connexion Space Navigator, that would be much more useful and important than having a Preset for ZB-like. Just my opinion.
  9. Snake Clay (LiveClays Brushes) = Missing the Steady Stroke property Where is the Steady Stroke property in the Tool Properties? Because for me there is no Steady Stroke in the properties and even though I gave Steady Stroke a shortcut key, I cannot disable it. So two things happen: 1) Steady Stroke has disappeared from the properties of the Snake Brush. 2) At the moment, using the Snake Clay Brush (LiveClay Brushes), the hotkey to activate and deactivate Steady Stroke does not work.

Freeze Menu / Hide Frozen Area (Surface mode) = Display problem: When the user uses the Hide Frozen Area command located in the Freeze Menu, several problems occur in the Freeze display and at the same time there is no Freeze. The user thinks that the area is still with Freeze, but it is just a Display error in the geometry. I had to use the Move Tool and just click on the area for the Freeze display problem to go away.

Merge Down in Sculpt Layers does not delete the layer that was commanded: When the user has different layers in the Sculpt Layer and uses the Merge Down command on the layer above, the result is that the command leaves the layer above empty and does not delete it from Sculpt Layers. Is this behavior normal? I thought the two layers would merge, not leaving an empty layer in the sculpt Layers.
  12. Strange things between Freeze Tool - Surface Hide Tool and using Freeze Menu commands: When the user uses the Freeze Tool, then switches to the Surface Tool and uses Freeze Menu commands, strange things happen in geometry. Is This normal?
  13. Dragged menu on the interface causes conflict with E-Panel (any brush or tool). When the user drags a menu from the top of the interface, any tool when using certain types of E-Panel causes conflict and malfunction. The problem was tested with Surface Hide, Freeze tools and brushes in Surface Mode.
  14. Surface Hide - 3D Closed Spline (Surface Mode) = Freezing Area? In the first image, choosing Surface Hide Tool, selecting the 3D Closed Spline type in the E-Panel, to hide a specific area of geometry. After making the curve, I pressed the ENTER key to hide the area inside the curve, but the result was that the inside of the curve became Freeze. I hoped the result would be to hide the area inside the curve and not become a freeze. In the second image, I selected Surface Hide Tool, hid an area of geometry with Free Lasso. Then, in the E-Panel I chose the 3D Closed Spline type and made a curve with the objective of Unhide the area inside the curve. I pressed the Enter key and the result was that the determined area appeared again and at the same time the area with Freeze.

Surface Hide - 3D Closed Spline (Surface Mode) : Using the 3D Closed Spline (E-Panel) type when you press the Enter key: The result is Unhide a little more of the determined area (even with Radius to a small value), but the strangest thing is that Freeze appears in the area at the same time. Would this behavior be normal?
  16. Surface Hide (Surface Mode) - Possible bug? Pressing the CTRL Key to be able to Unhide a certain area does not work the command using the following types of E-Panel: - Square Lasso, Rectangle Lasso, Vertex Lasso, Stroke Lasso, Circle Lasso, Elipse Lasso and Closed Spline. I tested with the other types of E-Panel and they work correctly with the Ctlr key to unhide certain areas of geometry.
  17. Let me try to explain it better. This tool (Bevel Curves Tool) would modify the edge directly from this geometry by applying a Customized Bevel similar to the features that exist in Coat Tool. But instead of creating another geometry in SculptTree, that bevel would be applied directly to the edge of Geometry or wherever the curve is around the geometry. It would be the same operation as a Bevel Tool that exists in the Blender program and other 3d programs. Therefore, it would be basically the operation of the Coat Tool, but applying the bevel physically deforming wherever the curve is. And when the user wanted to apply the Bevel, the user could activate an option to create a new Sculpt Layer so that the procedure is non-destructive. To avoid this problem, we could have something similar to Remove Stretching or Add Local Subdivision or Density within the property options and thus we would have a perfect and quality Bevel.
  18. @Gorbatovsky My congratulations for the excellent work developing fantastic tools. I am impressed with what you are demonstrating in the videos. I would like to ask you 2 questions. 1) Could you tell us, the videos you shared about KnifeAndProfile, AutoRetopo, SmartRetopo tools will be available when in 3D-Coat? 2) Could I suggest a new tool in relation to Curves? - Bevel Curves Tool: After the user creates a new curve on the mesh surface, the "Bevel Curves Tool" through the curve created in the geometry, a temporary Preview would appear and allow the realization of custom bevels similar to the Coat Tool / Edge Shape = CostomShape and EdgeWidth properties (save / load Curves). So, after customizing the bevel in the Preview and the user would press the Apply button and the desired Bevel would happen DIRECTLY in the geometry. And at the same time this bevel would be created in a new Sculpt Layer (If the user checked the option create a new sculpt layer with this bevel). Making the process less destructive. This suggested tool (Bevel Curves Tool) would be to directly deform the geometry and not create another geometry on top as is the case with the Coat tool. Thank you
  19. Thanks for fixing the problem with the small holes that appeared after using the Freeze Tool. Would it be possible to have the correct preview when the "Fill with Freeze" option in the Fill Tool is activated? Because after activating this option, the preview shows the geometry all dark and it becomes impossible to know the final result. Unfortunately, the preview only works without the "Fill w / Freeze" option disabled.

  21. => Possible Bug: Paint Room -> Fill Tool - Fill w/ Freeze -> Sculpt Room = Small holes appear. I already tested it twice. The first time was with the bust and the second time with the spherical in Surface Mode - Sculpt Room. From the Sculpt Room I went to the Paint Room. I selected the Fill Tool. After I chose the desired Pattern, I selected the Fill with Freeze command option and clicked on the geometry. After having Freeze, I went back to the Sculpt Room. And when I rotate the geometry, I noticed the appearance of several small holes in the geometry. I tried to use the command to close the holes, but it was not possible. So, I thought it was just a visual problem on the screen, but when I brushed over the small holes there were strange behaviors in the mesh deformation. I tried to use all the tools to close the holes and it didn't work. It seems that 3D-Coat does not see that there are small holes in the mesh surface.
  22. It is true! A million excuses! Sorry for that mistake about the Split Tool and Cut & Split Tool. I totally forgot the properties on the top tool. It was 2.5 in value .... Split Tool and Cut & Clone Tools are working correctly without erros... Once again sorry! My mistake! thank you @Silas Merlin to correct me!
  23. EDITED: Split Tool is working correctly! Sorry about my mistake! Split Tool (Possible Bug): Split Tool's result is very similar to Cut and Clone Tool. I used the Ortho view mode to have no problems with the camera perspective and the one on purpose I cut (split) in the same line of the navigation area so that we can have a comparison of the before and after the split of the geometry. The result is strange and wrong.
  24. EDITED: Cut & Clone is working correctly! Sorry about my mistake! Cut And Clone (Possible Bug): Result of the Cut: The resulting geometry of the Cut and Clone is a cut below the real line that the cut was made.
  25. I will try to use Voxels Mode more often. In fact, I use voxels just to form a base mesh so that I can sculpt in Surface Mode. I know that Voxels also have big problems regarding the performance of the brushes (not all), but some Voxels brushes on my PC (amd Radeon VII) become very slow according also to the Voxels resolution of the Sculpt Tree Layer. Unfortunately, for me with a few million or thousands of TRIS, it becomes very difficult to sculpt in voxels for the reasons I told you above. I don't know if this performance problem of sculpting with Voxels (very slow) happens to other users. I really like Voxels brushes, but once in a while some problem happens.
