I think my vehicle will be complex for an easy retopology, that is why I prefer make each pieces independently. After I don't how I can adjust these parts in 3d coat if I want use the render room for thé final image.
I Will post thé first wip soon.

Hi all,
My idea is to model a machine created by a scientist who would travel the world and visit unknown countries. This machine will displace over 2 articulated legs but could also fly with wings or other system. Perhaps a vehicle that looks like a bird.I think that I will sculpt all the parts of my vehicle separately in 3DCoat and i will assemble them in Blender. Then I can import all the vehicle in 3DCoat and make textures and rendering.Sorry if my english have mistakes, i use google translate.- 1

Thanks a lot for the tips. The orc already counts more than 5 millions, I will decrease the mesh. I think I could add more details after retopology by painting displacement.

Hello all,
I'm new on 3DCoat, I've just bought the educational version. I've started to learn voxel/surface room and I wanted to publish my first works.
This last isn't finished. I try to make an orc with armor and weapons.
Thanks for looking,
Fabrice.

Commercial just means you can't use it to do professional work. Only for school or personal work. Has nothing to do with file types.
Thank you philnolan3d

From the Buy Now page:
Limitation of Education version:
1) no commercial usage
2) textures size to export is limited to 2048x2048
3) layers amount is limited to 7
Yes thanks.
I saw these limtations but I thought the export to OBJ is disabled because this is an "no commercial version".
