    It just your car is missing one small upholstered rivet what you just notice. I think you are new in 3d? Because i am more than 15 years in this and know what this is very often not only for small development team like for 3dscoat but for big company's and many software have something not working. But i can cheer up, for most issue there is couple workaround what you can use.

    A good designer is not one who knows thoroughly one program, but one who knows how to adapt to time and new programs, use different programs and solve problems on the go.

    Can you explain your problem and why do you need lwo support if you have fbx? There is no bones(in 3dcoat) or other features, for other stuff fbx is good choice even for bones. 

  2. Maybe he cannot import lwo 2020 what is expected because it's newly update after long pause of development. But what the problem to use obj or fbx format in Lightwave? 
    Man this is stupid argue because even 3ds max do not support last sketchup but it support it ) The same for many apps

    Да я и сам не понимаю зачем этот масштаб, кто им пользуется, и вообще гизмо трансформации не удобное, почему нельзя сделать как в остальных программах а тут вынесены стрелки на дальние края и за оси таскать можно только если отключить все эти плоскости и кружок поворота, которые только мешают но их почему то в центр гизом воткнули как будто они так важны. Очень не удобно двигать и позить объекты, так и перемещать нельзя по двум плоскостям.
    Я пытался поднят этот вопрос в ветке с бетой, но народу все итак видимо нормально. 

  4. @Carlosan If it the same why it have different names? Outside of 3d coat i was never heard this term. Google for that term will show you shaders, in most app material is shader not uv coordinates. Myabe i am newbies and you think this name is right then it's fine =) 

    Also as new user of 3dcoat some elements placement confusing me too. For example UV editor in Texture menu, isn't more logical to have it in Windows\Panels? I understand what this may be because it not visible in other rooms.

    I am not sure, but I think UV set refers to something else in the wider world, outside of 3d-Coat ? If you come from outside, and inspect a model produced in 3d-Coat, it only ever has one single UV set, yes ? regardless of the number of "surface materials", or what 3dc calls "uv sets" in the retopo room.
    Other software can produce multiple UV Set for the same geometry, but not 3d Coat, yes ?

    If I'm right, "Surface material" makes MUCH more sense if you only keep one.

    The problem with the term material alone is that it is used to mean several things depending on context. Hence why "surface material" is probably appropriate ?

    What confusing me is difference of names here uv set and here surface materials, this is confusing

  6. Check your units in 3dcoat. I define cm and import in 3ds max exactly the same size. Your client can adjust scale on import or maybe it was set wrong scale accidentally in import dialog.
    Though i have problem what saved file is too big, even optimized mesh with 6kk polygons store 500mb in 3ds max))
