  2. Hello there is a standard "ZB" way. Use a Riptude plugin for an export to 3DC and usually I use baking tool for texture export back. If I change a shape of my model - I allways export/import my model from 3DC back to C4D where I update an UV mesh (Export UV command). Again, use Riptide plugin for both operations (import export).   3. finally i used displacement map and C4D GI renderer (gray sky and two flat lights) and post production :-) PS: Usually use I a HN with high sub. renderer value without SPD

  10. Hello Andrew 1) Could you add a checkbox to Symmetry menu (to the planes options), please (useful if you are zoomed to some mirrored detail and you can not check whole model)? 2) Really symmetrical Select and Move mode, it would be great! THX and cheers Pavel
  11. Hello it is same as standard painting, you have an original object and your canvas, nothing special. Yes, your "projection material system" is simply amazing, but it is not same. I use sometimes a simple photo side by side my editor window - an original of my own work.... For a reference... That's all what I need :-) Cheers Pavel PS: maybe I'm wrong, but: Is picture in window in color picker allways stratched? Is there a chance to zoom this picture? and adjust a size of this?
  12. Hello Andrew is there any chance to set some picture as a reference in higher resolution? Or to some "picture view" window, or something like this. It could be very usefull if I don´t use two monitors... Cheers Pavel
  13. Hello Andrew it is a bit harder. I have special contract with www.grafika.cz, they publish my articles from my server (www.3dsoftware.cz) and they pay me for that. It is very special situation, becouse I get money from "non unigue" articles... I must ask them first. About my EN - it is really terrible :-) haha, agency could be better I suppose. Wait please, I will contact a www.grafika.cz server for that. Pavel

  15. Hello Andrew 1st) you can use both systems on MacOS, I have an Macbook (2.16 Coreduo) and I have there both systems, MacOS 10.4 and Win XP. There is no problem 2nd) you are right, Mac is overpriced in Europe and price is higher as you go to the East. Maybe is there a chance to buy Mac in US? 3rd) Books are not so overpriced like standard machines, this is a way I mean. And they are pretty cool. About users. As I said in point 2, on east is Win stronger, but in US and west Europe are Macs really popular. C4D has (my opinion from distributors meetings and other) cca 1/3 Mac OS users and I know really many advertising companies in my country and they almost all work on MacOS (and C4D). I don't want to push you to something, but deeper collaboration with some bigger team could help you in many aspects and nobody want to "eat" you... If you want to try something on Mac, you can contact me... Pavel - on your service :-)
  16. Hello I used BP3D goodies samples for basic skin (all channels) and standard "brushes" with high Jitter and Spacing values. It gived me a "random" sample. a little workflow preview - please keep it in this forum! becouse it belongs to my article in Pixel magazine (biggest czech CG paper magazine) Cheers Pavel

  21. Finished, Andrew I must write article now! But really cool app. I have a question, could I import a new object - merge an object to open project - I need there an eye, for eaxmple, but I did not found a way how to improt a new one object. It is not so "hot" problem for me. I did it directly in C4D... THX for your help. P
  22. Yeah, I know :-), it is my first fully scuplted model :-). I must improve a bit a neck part... I did it for my article to Pixel magazine, I allways preffere own screens, own work. P
