  1. Currently Bridge tool does not respect surrounding geometry. is there a way to connect to the existing geometry when bridging between two edges like the picture. Is there plans to update the existing tool if not?
  2. When activating "Fill inside in projection mode" on a closed curve, I get a selection on the back side(or multiple sides) of the model. Symmetry is off and the through all volumes button is unchecked. What can I do to prevent this from happening?
  3. I ve been watching Anton s tutorials and I noticed there are some tool options there for round border. I have the latest version downloaded and the options are not there. Any guesses
  4. I have a lot of respect for these developers in these times. New to 3D coat and Its awesome
  5. Same here. Thats a bug. The tool has an option for a closed spline yet it freezes the computer not the mask lol
  6. cool thanks! So I guess this is a bug? According to this video it should work with just the closed spline
  7. This should be easy to do but I cant figure it out. Im trying to freeze an area with a spline, but when I click apply it freezes the stroke. I want to freeze the entire area confined by the closed spline. How is that possible?
  8. Thank you so much fluffy. My main objective is hard surface modeling. Isnt voxel mode the preffered method for that kind of workflow?
  9. OK great thanks that helped. When using the fill with Mesh Layer, if I convert to Voxels (or Multires in surface mode) I loose my sharp edges. Is there a way to maintain sharp edges when using this method? Also is there a way to booleanthose 2 voxel layers in the screenshot (subtract small from the large one)?
  10. Hey thanks for the reply Fluffy! Here s the video How do those curves work with the sphere tool? I can only make it work with the vertex lasso not splines Also How does he boolean?
  11. HI all!! Im trying to transfer my workflow form Zbrush so please excuse my questions Im very excited about using curves and Im trying to figure out how to sculpt extrude to a curve which is outside of the actual mesh. Kind of what the clip curve in Zbrush does. What Im looking for is in the "2D curves to 3D Coat" beginner video, but I cant seem to figure out how all that is done since there is no sound. I did my best to duplicate this workflow on the demo but I just cant do so. Any tips please?
  12. Just testing the demo. Tried Zbrush and even though I liked the tools I hated that loosey goosey direction towards modeling . 3D Coat completely fills that gap and does everything that I wished Zbrush did. I absolutely love the implementation of poly modeling and the nurb modeling features cause I love starting my concepts with curves. I think the Loft and the Swept N need some serious love but they are very promising once they are fixed. Love how everything can snap to nurbs curves as few modeling packages manage to create that conforming to curves workflow. I can now stay within one package without going to Blender. Please, please keep improving the Poly modeling cause its a fantastic start and has great promise. Sculpting is the shit diggity on turbosteroids! AMAZING!!!!!Learning more as we speak.... Thank you for this amazing package and I will gladly support its development by buying a license
  13. New potential user here! Since Zbrush does not have this capability those were the first go to since I want to create my initial meshes with curves. I was looking forward to these tools but I now see that this software is maybe not ready for this type of use yet?
