Member Tiles Posted November 15, 2013 Member Report Share Posted November 15, 2013 I want to clone a specific area of a texture to other locations. The clone tool origin moves with the mouse though, even when i am not painting. Which means i am always at reselecting this spot, which is pretty cumbersome. How can i make it that the clone tool origin snaps back to the selected area that i have initially selected?
Javis
I am sure that is not possible at the moment, it functions more or less like the corresponding tool in Photoshop (latest I have is CS3, I can't speak for later versions). You could always put a feature request on Mantis for this functionality.
Member Tiles Posted November 15, 2013 Author Member Report Share Posted November 15, 2013 Yikes. Not possible? That`s not good But i see, the Photoshop clone tool has indeed the same issues. That`s where Gimp and Blender is definitely better. Thanks Javis
