Member photosw Posted July 26, 2018 Member Report Share Posted July 26, 2018 I am trying to sculpt by using two reference images. I’m having trouble getting the right lighting. Does anyone have settings they recommend to help have a great outcome with sculpting portraits? Sorry for not knowing all the correct terms burn i am very familiar with the software. Member photosw Posted July 26, 2018 Author Member Report Share Posted July 26, 2018 I have and it helps some but something is off. Would you be able to tell me your settings you have for lighting or anything you have that will effect how the model is appears. I put the model in Meshmixer and the face looks much differently because it seems much brighter. I’ve reset the software to default and it still seems much darker and am not able to see much detail. It helped quite a bit. Still interested on other settings, if you have tips.
Carlosan
It's hard to say without seeing an image. Are you using the latest version? The original configuration is optimized for that job. Common settings: Contrast = 0 Primary Light = 100 Background = Use environment map
