problem with the normal of materials

Hi,

I don't understand why in the preview the depth / normal of the material can be seen correctly, but when I apply it it is completely wrong.
I have seen that the value of depth on the material is 15% while on the menu it is set to 100% ... bringing even that to 15% the depth is lower ... but it is always different from the previw.

I am attaching two example images

I noticed that it happens when I use the "fill tool" with the options Layer, Surface, Object ,or if I use (always with the "fill tool") the lasso brush. If instead I use the fill tool by clicking on the surface, or using the tool brush the material is generated correctly (it comes as I see it in preview).

Why is this happening? Help!!
