It has a lot of what you need to augment your workflow from sculpting to UV editing and painting too. Check out this two-part tutorial series from Anton Tenitsky, who shows how he approaches creating sculpts in 3D Coat specifically for 3D Printing.The tutorial covers how he sculpts a tower in 3D Coat, starting with a sketch. The second part shows how to set up the file to print on a 3D Printer to get a lovely print where all the pieces fit together perfectly.
