New Member Oux Posted November 22, 2021 New Member Report Share Posted November 22, 2021 Hi guys, I am new to 3d-coat. I heard that this is the best software for preforming model retopo. But I just can't understand the interface or how this software works. I import a model through edit - import - ref. mesh for retopo, for some reason it appears centered and very small, after I increase it's size and hit ok - the model just disappears. But if I go directly to the retopo tab and hit import there - the model stays. Why? Ok, I imported the model, 3d coat shows me that 20k poly is too many for retopo purposes. But the model look incorrect, like model normals are inverted randomly. I tried to make a retopo, on this screwed model, but something feels wrong. I tried to check for tuts on yourtube, but there is only outdated stuff or a feature show off. Just wanted to request an article or a youtube video about how to make a complete retopo from scratch with connection to Blender / Zbrush. Thanks.
