Member Hickz Posted February 15, 2022 Member Report Share Posted February 15, 2022 (edited) Hello guys, i'm having an issue with visible uv seams that were not there when i first unwrapped and started painting the model. I have no clue when they appeared or how to reproduce it, perhaps someone already stumbled upon this issue and can help me. Latest 2022.05 is used. Here is the problematic area, all uv seams have this artifacting around them. All layers except layer 0 are turned off. I also can't paint over these artifacts, of course. Lower is a screenshot from an older backup file, no artifacts whatsoever. Edited February 15, 2022 by Hickz
Member Hickz Posted February 15, 2022 Author Member Report Share Posted February 15, 2022 (edited) Ok so an update, if i fill layer0 with the gray color, these artifacts are not as visible as in the first post, but they're still there. This definitely has to do something with layer0 Lower screenshot is from the backup file Edited February 15, 2022 by Hickz
Member Hickz Posted February 16, 2022 Author Member Report Share Posted February 16, 2022 Okay, so, i solved this, apparently those lines are different in roughness from the other surface, i have no idea how they appeared there on uv seams to begin with, but after filling those meshes/layers with the same roughness/color they disappear.
