Showing some important info when merging poly into voxel

Currently when merging/importing poly meshes into voxel room, we cannot preview how many voxels will be created and

how much memory will be needed for the conversion.

Sometimes I overscaled my mesh and got a out-of-memory crash in return after hitting enter.

Feature request:

Show the current voxel density and memory requirement of the importing mesh base on the size of it's bounding box.

So that we won't need to press and pray anymore. :P

Regards,

akira.

I think this is a really good idea. The more you use the software the more you learn the memory requirements, but sometimes a critical mistake is made is selecting too much subdivision upon import and you have a system lockup as it starts to run out of ram.

It is not easy to force-quit the software even when you know its going to lock-up. I only have 32bit system with 2GB ram on a Vista laptop so memory issues occur quite frequently, it's fairly annoying when it's 'my fault' on settings used so I'd love to see an estimation made as

Akira suggests.
