Currently with the Voxel Transform tool you have a few options to choose from. It would be excellent if there was another option to transform without adjusting the layer symmetry plane. A tickbox with something like: "Transform without Layer Symmetry" or any variant thereof. I think this is necessary in that, most of the time I use the tool, I don't want to adjust the layer symmetry plane. It would also be good if this setting was default. Of course don't remove the way this works entirely, I definitely see the need to modify the symmetry plane, but more often than not, i don't need to.
