Advanced Member wilson66 Posted December 1, 2023 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 1, 2023 I have several different Blender beta and alpha versions on my hard drive, but they were not installed using a exe-installer, they were simply extracted to a folder from a ZIP file. Installing is not necessary. Is there some way to point 3DCoat/ the applink to a specific Blender .EXE-file? Right now, when I start Blender and try to send a model to 3DCoat, nothing is transferred at all.
Carlosan
Applinks folders are in this location C:\Program Files\3DCoat-2023\data\ToolsPresets\InstallAppLinks When you install it from 3DC and enable the plugin that is installed by default in Blender, you can send and receive from any version of Blender if the location of the exchange folder is correct. Sidenote: sorry for this question, after painting the model in 3DC, do you press export2blender ?
