My proposal: For better orientation it would be nice to have the possibility to see the hidden parts in form of a transparent object or a material with a special color in combination with transparency, red f.e. This feature could be optional and shiftable in the view menu. You could name it "display hidden parts" or something similar. Please don't mistake this with the "unhide all" option.
