Member tonyd Posted March 18, 2011 Member Report Share Posted March 18, 2011 I've tried snake a few times and I really like it. But there are times when I extrude a snake and as soon as I release the LHM (let's say a chain) the detail of the chain looks distorted. There have been times when it looks great. Can you tell me what settings or conditions I need to set up so that the detail of the snake object remains? Thanks Tony
Psmith
A consistent stroke speed (slow) and gentle curves produce the best results. Greg Smith
Javis
You must to increase the resolution of the layer in the VoxTree you're attempting to work on. If the resolution isn't high enough, the details will be "chunky". You can increase the resolution various ways, right click menu on the layer, icon in the voxtree for increase res, and through the increase res tool on the left hand side (or space bar). That should fix it right up.
