Pose Tool - Select by Layer

Don´t know if it had been mentioned already.

For the Pose Tool it would be nice so make a selection by another layer geometry with an adjustable falloff distance.

Selecting with line is often not precise enough and painting the selction too much work.

So you cut off a finger of a hand for example, and use this as a selection object (with adjustble falloff distance) for the hand.

I dont understand,no need to paint a finger you can make selections with e-panel lasso or polygonal lasso.Use select with pen just like when you paint selection but press E and instead of brush icon select lasso or ponygonal lasso.

Then you ou can even save your selections externally to file for each fingers using Save selection and load one when you want to reselect a specific finger.
