Try Unify UV then Auto Map in the UV section.

Hello, In 3dcoat some parts of the mesh are very pixelated and when drawing on them its symmetric the brush strokes with symmetric off. I checked UV and mesh there are no overlapping UVs or anything, i tired to in substance painter and it worked fine in that software. If someone could recommend a solution that would be great. I'll upload the mesh and screenshots. 2026.22 Victiniforpaint.fbx

What was your solution please?  I'm having the same problem.  I hit apply, or press enter and the curve goes from the usual to just ghosted in appearance. * Edit:  Brush along curve seems to cause this.  Disabling that as an option formed the curve fully.

coat 2026.22 Tiles as UVs MV Mode: Hello! I have made an interesting fbx. It starts at UDIM Tile 1004. 3 Polygons in Space of that Tile-UV: X3-4 ,Y0-1.  And I can happily say, that PPP importer supports gaps!  you can start at 1004 and do another tile on 1021. However something really strange happens if i import in MV mode. In 9 out of ten imports it gets falsely imported as 1001, but by chance it gets the correct tile1004.  It would be great if mv mode does interpret that part similarly to ppp mode.  All the best! tile1004.fbx

Hello everyone,  I recently switch to linux and decided to get back to 3DCoat as it is should in theory be available on this platform. I want to share my experience so far as it could be helpful for others. You can see a recap of my whole system below the post, I am using CachyOS with Hyprland-Noctalia (default cachyos installer);  I first installed the latest flatpak using shelly and it worked like a charm with my cintiq pressures working first try. Only issue are performances, I can't sculpt over 2 millions which is ridiculously low for my needs and tells me my graphic card / cpu are not being used properly. I couldn't find a way to change that due to my lack of knowledge in linux and options on 3DC side. Later, I tried to use the windows executable using Lutris. Everything went well and while it runs it like a game it wasn't difficult to move it on my cintiq and start sculpting. I tried to subdivide the default voxel sphere up to 60 millions until it started to lag while brushing some details. While the performance were way over the flatpak version my sensitivity didn't worked until I saw in the Wine issues reports that some fixes maybe available on the wine-staging runner. It fixed my pressure issue. I now have to version installed but only the .exe with Lutris+Wine-staging is usable so far. I am experiencing small UI glitch/blinking when sculpting but nothing preventing me to use it... so far. Nodes, When using the new SM material fills the entire layer. I have a object that has many parts but only 1 UV map containing them all. Even if I turn off the part in Painting object it gets a Image map painted on it. It would be nice to have the option to Refill material (old material) so that you can determine what part gets the SM Paint.

The curvature map still looks blurry. Need Legacy version 3D Coat, not NS.

using this settings turning off this option on Retopo also turning off texture filtering on Paint I got this result   Note Depth Opacity on NM layer > is set to 220%
