  1. I'm running into a bug where using the bucket tool doesn't work unless I try repeatedly. (quite a few tries before it works)
  2. I like it all! The dark interface is much more pleasing for my eyes. Love the radial custom menu. The placement of "modes" is great. I'm hoping we get an interface that is something like this.
  3. I'm also experiencing a bug where after converting a voxel sculpt for pixel painting and then retopologising, some of the new geometry I add will jump to areas of the model that are no where near what I'm working on. This happens with a lot of the retopology tools.
  4. I can confirm this one, I'm also getting it a step further where I can not paint in some areas when this is the case.
  5. Hey Phil. Yeah I suppose that's true. Not quite the same... GIMPShop is a good point. No money being made, and no worries I assume on adobe's end. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what the interface redesign brings us! I'm sure Andrew wont disappoint.
  6. Does adobe really have some kind of copyright on the photoshop interface? If so, how does paint shop pro get away with having a very similar interface to that of PS?
  7. I do agree with buqa on the layers, having them slightly shorter vertically would do wonders. Everything is looking very sharp!
  8. Thank you for your efforts, you're doing an amazing job Andrew. The direct paint is VERY awesome so far.
  9. That's cool. I've been making myself a rigging reel, using Lightwave.
  10. Lol, true space? It's close to extinction.
  11. Yeah, that's true. I can do with out it anyway. I do love the photoshop style interface though, and that is not patented (thankfully). Andrew, is that the kind of interface you're looking to implement? Or do you have something else in mind? I know you mentioned you liked it, I suppose that's a good sign.
  12. Andrew, that's like music to my ears. Thank you sir, I look forward to seeing those painting tools AND your new interface!
  13. Hey Phil. Completely agree! That's the great thing about it, makes me want to dive right in and get to work. I already know how it functions and the interface looks more logical. As you said though, it does need some polish, other then that... I want it.
  14. Andrew, this is the BEST interface I could imagine from the get go with version 3. It's immediately recognizable and I would imagine easy to use and jump right into the trenches and get to work. As a personal preference, I would enjoy a text based interface as well, ala Lightwave. But only as an option. Anyway, chalk up another vote for this mocked up interface! Very nice.
  15. Man I get busy for a few weeks and come back to see we have some amazing new additions in 3DCoat! Great stuff Andrew, I can't believe you have incorporated such great cloth simulation tools in 3DC in such a short amount of time. You sir, are a genius. PS- I'm really looking forward to testing out your low poly painting tools, it's a biggie.
  16. After installing and dinking with it, it crashed on me too. Due to running out of memory, after 27 minutes.
  17. Thank Dan4ik. He could use a break anyway! (Though I'm sure he's hard at work). Thanks for the heads up.
  18. Hey TOXE, I too am a LW user. You're the first person to ever comment on LW having great UV tools, lol. Frankly, they are poor. But luckily PLG is great, and that's all I use currently. Though I'm also looking at eventually getting UVLayout, check it out HERE. Worthy program, especially if you do a lot of UV work.
  19. You're right. I kept forgetting to put mine up on here. Thanks for the reminder Phil.
  20. I too am also interested in seeing the new UI. Personally though, the current one isn't a bother too me.
