Hi there Phil. Just thought I'd drop a quick comment. I think the body is looking pretty decent, but there is something about the eyes I dont care for. It seems as thought the eyes are discs instead of spherical. Also, the side of the forehead needs to be less square so it's less jarring to the viewer. Keep it up man, I know you can polish this gem.

The digitizer in the EEE Slate is actually a Wacom. I would like to see more of these devices, but I imagine manufacturers are not brave enough to wade the unknown waters.

Yep, the legs are shortened too. If it bothers too many people I guess I'll change it, but at that point I will have just made a tall human/avatar.

Actually I haven't read the 3dC manual (I know, shame on me). I'm actually just exploring forms for a personal project, hence the very rough detailing and lazy anatomy. I have yet to test it out with different proportions and fat etc... Here it is with a bunch of subtle tweaks:
