haha oh man that gave me a laugh But there seems to be issues with CUDA from what I've run into I have yet to get my 480GTX to be happy with it in anyway. I did see problems back when I had my 9800GTX too but I was not able to really track down what it was.

Did some more work on her not sure what else I may do in the voxel room. I may end up just tossing this into retop and call it done.

nice looking model there I also would like to know about the displacement maps too from voxels as I have yet to get something to actually work

Last day of my trial with 3d coat so I gave the retop room a try. the head turned out to work nicely with the baked textures 3d coat generated the only issue was I had to touch up some of it due to some uv errors and black spots. all in all though the retop room has some handy tools and I'm sure I will have some fun with that later on

Well the creature is a soul eater of sorts so the nubs on the underside of the neck work like a mouth when it connects to its victim. I would agree too about the tassel things I had some fun with the muscle tool to make fluff like shapes.

Well finally got more time again to play with this app and gave some of the other tools a try and attempted some new stuff. This creature here was made up by my coworker and we both wanted to see it in voxel form so here is my current progress on her. I'm still getting the hang of stuff but each time I use 3d coat its so much fun I just hope I can get this one done before my demo is up but I will be purchasing this app for sure!

this is all Voxels just used a sphere to start with and ended up hitting the increase res 2 times so I could get better detail. The head only has one layer and the teeth and eyeballs were split off on their own as well.

Here is one of my first attempts at a head in 3d coat. I hope to do more with this app as its quite fun to work with!
