Only retopo erase uv, this 3ds max optimization keeps uv coordinates so you can export or apply materials from 3dcoat. I also tried Quad Remesher it also not very good for this model.
By the way your model have much density what can make more sharper edges, and you should use symmetry for modeling it may help for retopo

3D Coat is the exception. Most models I've created in 3D Coat can only be used in 3D Coat.
I can export obj easily and open in 3ds max no problem. And in 3ds max optimize for rendering

There is Quad Remesher plugin, and it maybe best autotopo tool on market but it also was bad with your model. Maybe you should look in decimation tools instead of retopo.
So this problem not only 3d coat

Thanks, i have disabled sculpt layers in preference and never turn it on, but i notice what sometimes beta tools might work even if they disabled in preference i was use new curves though.
Is this also bug? -
After reset settings the same steps leads to crash.
Maybe other people may check this too? -

Why you try to use Height Adjustment Tool (it is a Paint Tool) over a Sculpt mesh created on voxel mode ?
It is also crashing with sculpt sphere, i just fast demonstrate steps, yes it may work or may crash at switching to this tool

Wacom selling overprices devices imho. Today China makes good devices what can compare to wacom in quality. there is also good japanese company

It is stable but have many small glitches and missing menus
like thishotkeys for brush ()-= sometimes needs to press twice

Does it make sense to move Texture Editor in windows - panels? Also would be good to make this window without restriction to border window of 3dcoat so i can move it around on desktop.

I think if you not enough detail in live clay brush (i hope you tried to change detail value) then you need to check scale of model, and you should to check this at importing

I think it something with steam, i have the same problem but for blender, from site it works fine, but it won't in steam

There is nothing to wait, too many bugs after rewriting code, so it better focus on fix them than port them to Mac
