Knowing how fast Andrew squashes bugs, I'm sure your issue will be resolved soon. L

  7. Hi guys, 2 doodles I did: the one below was done with the latest version 3.504c win After seeing Bay Raitt robo-mite vid I had to try out the snake brush and I love it. Hope to try the new paint engine soon. thanks Luke
  8. Congratulations with the last releases Andrew: massive speed improvement and the new brush engine looks great so far ! thanks. Here's a bug using the stamp mode (e-panel) when in ppp mode; I also see some random appearance of some blocky shapes when using pen #3 in the e-panel with jitter enabled. see pic: Luke

  11. 3.3.14 cuda64 I click on the folder icon in the pens window, brows to my abr file, select it, open, and then nothing gets added. Thanks Luke
  12. Hi Andrew, " The problem with symmetry is that now it works only in global space. So if your object is not symmetrical in global space it should work." Can you tell what steps I should take to get it to work, I tried autoret. on several objects and 3dc crashed on them all. Thanks

Hi Andrew, thanks for the new update v3.3.11 32 bit no cuda// crashes hard when using autoretopolize with symmetry enabled - everything goes fine until the message "creating mesh" pops up and then -bang- 3dc is gone, hello desktop. It works without symmetry enabled.But this is useless for my workflow. I've seen some users reported a black mesh after import...I've this too and the culprit is the default grey shader(= black) I've attached the !!crash!!.dmp zipped Thanks Luke !!crash!!.zip
  14. I just hope you are able to define the center line of the object, but autoretopo looks very nice so far Can't wait to try it out.

Hi people, I've been playing lately with 3dc as a painting application.(plane (planar UV projection) And I really like it because: 1. you've access to all the blending modes 2. shift as smoothbrush 3. symmetry painting 4. super fast navigation (zoom + pan(hand) 5. access to stencilmasks + freeze 6. and all the other tools 7. export to and import from photoshop 8. would be great if we had layermasks Andrew We have currently 2 modes available and it seems that perpixelpainting works very good (a little less responsive as ptexpainting imo - especially the smoothbrush) And I have these weird artifacts in my strokes using ptex (makes it not so usable right now) 3dc 3.205 dx simple. L

  20. Fantastic update Andrew ! Love the new surface mode/speed. Small bug: freeze is'nt working with the move brush in surface mode.

My intention was to check out the new abf++ uv implementation in the last update, but could not resist to jump first into the voxel room and wowwow...Andrew I don't know what you did, but the brushes are so much more responsive ... awesome update ! Anyway here's my first 3dc sculpt/doodle started from a sphere. ( really did enjoy the sculpting part this time ) and no crashes !!! Thanks
