    Clipping mask support photoshop

Do we have clipping mask support that is compatible with photoshop clipping mask. I currently still bounce back and forth ps and 3dc but the clipping mask doesn't work. Wish there was a way to support this non destructive workflow between ps and 3dc.

Some form of clipping in Surface Sculpt...

Hi, I am fairly new to sculpting in coat, and I am having this really weird problem that is getting on my nerves, so my model keeps disappearing and clipping when I am trying to sculpt on it, every time I turn the model or my view it sometimes disappears. I did solve this once, It stays normal when I was zoomed in at a certain point, that does still work, but the point where it is normal is very very zoomed in and I cannot see the rest of my model... It is super confusing. I thought maybe it was because it is super high poly, due to the amount of times I subdivided... I just want to be able to rotate around my model and sculpt without it disappearing.

[Solved] Help with potion bottle glass :C

Hi guys! I am losing the will to live with my potion bottles. The model was created in 3DS Max, I have the outer model which is the bottle and an inner model which is the liquid. To see through the bottle, I have been creating a glass layer with a chrome texture, lowering the opacity of the layer to 20% and then hiding layer 0. It works, but also comes with an immense amount of problems, (see below). As shown in the images, the potion bottles seem to make other parts of the model transparent when looking through at certain angles, it clips out the majority of the inside model (the liquid), and just looks completely messed up. Any help is appreciated! Thanks so much.

    [Solved] Near camera clipping

Whenever I work on objects that are roughly 1 metre in size, I get near camera clipping when framing smaller sub-objects (several centimetres). It shows up in all rooms and really gets on my nerves. I use centimetres as my working units in 3D Coat. Near plane modulator is set to 0.01, but tweaking it doesn't seem to affect anything. Is there anything I can do about it besides scaling the whole object hierarchy up (which I really want to avoid)?
  5. Hi there ! I'm a long time Blender/Gimp/Krita user but I'm quited tired of blender's texture painting... No layers and all.. It's been troubling me for a while. So I made my first steps to 3D Coat a few days ago and I love the app so far. Two things are bugging me though : 1 - I googled a lot and tried a lot of options ("paint through") and all but I can't seem to get the behavior I'd like with the brush concerning clipping faces. I'd like the brush to paint everything under it, and not just snapping on a particular polygon. Is it possible ? 2 - I googled that already and it seems there isn't but I'm still asking... who knows Is there a smudge/smear brush in texture painting ? Thanks a lot for your help ! Regards, Ghislain.
