I am having real problems with sketchup models that I know 3dcoat does not like so i bring them into Zbrush and remesh them, either through qmesher or dinamesh. The mesh comes out at about 27000 tris. when I bring it into 3dcoat for voxilization it brings up a warning that the voxils will be 95 million and if i say ok kills my computer.

What am I doing wrong ? I really need it to handle these low polly meshes but I feel like I am fighting the program to get it to work.

Any help would be fantastic.

Thank you

import to surface mode by checking "merge without voxelising" checkbox. There you can do pretty much anything you can do in voxel mode( cutting,Liveclay sculpting, booleans ect...) At 27 000 tris its gonna be super responsive.

To merge to voxel its better for organic shapes to use as base for sculpting

any very sharp shapes, even lowpoly will require excessive polycount (like 95 mil)
