hello dears, I have an idea for image-based modelization, e.g. you have a stack of balck/white pictures from cross-sections (e.g. from a Tomographics - hope you understand me) and if you have 2+n pictures, so you can made an 3DVoxel Model, would it be nice and possible?

okay, I did see a nice TUTORIAL in YOUTUBE, about MANDELBULB 3D, there are the possibility to generate cross sections (just black/white pictures) - after that he used FiJi / ImageJ to made an OBJ File from these crsso section - jpgs ... to made an OBJ from that Mandelbulb :)

maybe would it be nice for 3DCoat too? :)

Thanks, I know that too, but what I mean is a little bit an other way to made 3D Objects from pictures. In this case he uses 700 different image-slices for making an 3D Objcet with mandelbulber 3D & Fiji.

please see this video:

My english isnt good enough

ohhhh i see

jezzzz....

we need a script (upper menu > create your script)

to load pics for coordinates X, Y, Z

to make new voxel object using sketch tool selecting the pic #1

next step same procedure, to make new voxel object using sketch tool selecting the pic #2

at the last step: merge visible

but... sketch tool doesnt load sequences... only 1by1 pic

Is this feature worth it ?

Are Tomographics model recreation used in Medicine ?

How could we use this new feature request in our daily digital creation workflow ?

*idea

may be we can begin asking to use GREY pics with sketch tool ? not only -B&W-

regards
