Member Autarkis Posted November 4, 2008 Member Report Share Posted November 4, 2008 Hello all, First of all, let me say that impressed as i was by 3d coat, finding out you can paint in a flattened uv view is..truly a beautiful thing. I was wondering however if it is possible to be able to have the material image/mask be able to be shown as you paint like it is possible in 3d view? It would be a nice feature to have (i'm sure it's possible since everything i've thought of so far by doing a quick search on the help pdf was there ) Thanks

It can be changed, but need some time to be implemented.
Member Autarkis Posted November 6, 2008 Author Member Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 Thanks for your quick reply Andrew, i really appreciate it. Would you consider implementing it someday in the upcoming 3.0 release? I think it would be a step above "fade on edge" function as it would diminish texture stretching while painting (and yes, i know i can apply a basic texture map in photoshop and bring it, but i'm trying to minimize the numbers of time i switch between programs to do what i want )
